Arsene Wenger receives an extraordinary honour from Arsenal FC

Arsenal Football Club has decided to honour one of the best managers in the history of the club, Arsene Wenger with a statue outside the Emirates Stadium.

The statue of Arsene Wenger lifting the Golden League title was erected outside the Stadium on Friday, July 28, 2023, for everyone to have a glimpse of the club's legend.

Wenger was the manager of the Gunners between October 1996 and May 2018, in which he led the club to three Premier League titles, including an unforgettable invincible season. He won seven FA Cup wins and qualified the team for 20 successive years in the UEFA Champions League.

In his first full season ( 1997/98) he became the first ever non-British manager to win the league title and also led the team to win the FA Cup in the same season. The Frenchman also won the league title in the 2001/02 and the 2003/04 season.
