Declan Rice reacts to William Troost-Ekong's AFCON 2023 performance

Arsenal and England midfielder Declan Rice has reacted to William Troost-Ekong's performance for the Super Eagles of Nigeria at the Africa Cup of Nations 2023 (AFCON) tournament.

Declan Rice took to William Troost-Ekong's comment section on Instagram to praise his remarkable performance as the captain of the Super Eagles of Nigeria at the recently concluded AFCON 2023 in which Nigeria had lost the finals to Cote d'Ivoire.

His post praised Ekong for his stellar performance at the competition and also received acknowledgement from fans in the comment section as well.

Troost-Ekong who had been crowned the player of the tournament took to his social media platform to thank fans for their unrelenting support throughout the tournament adding that this was a learning curve for the club and they would be looking to comeback better and stronger.
