Arsenal star player reportedly set to leave in January 2024

Arsenal Football Club might have more on their hands to worry about off the field when the January 2024 transfer window opens.

There are reports that Thomas Partey has told the club that he wants to leave the Emirates when the transfer window opens. According to the Daily Mail, Partey has already informed the Gunners of his desire to leave the club.

There are offers from the Serie A, La Liga, Saudi Arabia and the Premier League but the player is not in a haste to decide his future. However, there are reports that Juventus are the front-runners to sign Partey, given their need for a defensive midfielder.

The Ghanaian International has spent most of his time this season on the sidelines due to injury. He missed just seven games in five years at Atletico Madrid but has been plagued with issues since joining Arsenal in 2020.

Partey suffered another setback in training before Arsenal's victory away at Sevilla in the Champions League. He played last for the Gunners when he came on as a substitute in the 1-0 win over Manchester City last month ( October 2023).
