Arsenal Football Club might be without one of its first-team defenders, Gabriel Magalhaes when the Gunners travel to the Etihad to face Manchester City in the Premier League.

The Brazilian Football Federation confirmed the news on its official website on Monday, March 18, 2024. According to reports, Gabriel's injury is more of a precautionary situation and it is not a serious injury.

Brazil's head coach, Dorival Junior announced during his press conference on Monday, March 18, 2024.

He said,

"I had already communicated previously that we will work with a slightly more extensive list. A pre-call we can put it that way and again, today, we had another casualty. Unfortunately, Gabriel Magalhães is uncalled. In his place, we are calling Bremer, from Juventus.”

Gabriel has been carrying a foot issue but no confirmation of the specific issue linked to his withdrawal from the national team. This means that Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Jesus, Thomas Partey, Tomiyasu and Ben White might be available or not before they face City.

Arsenal fans will hope they have their best players fit and available as the season gets into its final lap.
