OFFICIAL: Arsenal FC Completes the Signing of Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City

Arsenal Football Club have completed the signing of Brazil's forward player, Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City.

The news was confirmed on the official website of Arsenal, on Monday, July 4th, 2022, according to reports from the club, the forward player joined the Gunners for a transfer fee of £45 million. The player signed a contract with the North London club on a five-year-deal with will see him stay at the club until June 2027.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang left the club during the January transfer window while Alexander Lacazette left at the end of the season. Jesus is expected to partner with Eddie Nketiah in the forward line when the next football season (2022/23) starts.

Gabriel has won the Premier League title four times, the FA Cup, and the League Cup three times. He is a regular in the Brazil national team, making 56 appearances and scoring 19 times since making his full international debut for his country in September 2016.

This is Arsenal's third signing of the season which includes; Fabio Vieira from Benfica and goalkeeper, Matt Turner from the MLS.
