Antonio Rudiger Begins His Next Chapter at Real Madrid

Real Madrid football club have confirmed the signing of German defender, Antonio Rudiger from Chelsea Football Club.

The signing was confirmed on the official website of Real Madrid on Thursday, June 2nd, 2022. According to reports from the club, Rudiger will stay at the club until the summer of 2026 without an option to extend his contract.

He was a key member of the Stamford Bridge squad that lifted the Champions League, the Europa League, the Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup and FA Cup. He has also featured in the Champions League Team of the Season in both of the last two seasons.

Rudiger left Chelsea as a free agent at the end of the last football season ( 2021/22) after the Premier League club failed to agree on a new deal with the player. Real Madrid fans will hope the signing of the German will bring more success to the way of the club.
