Joshua was knocked down four times in total, with the decisive moment coming just seconds after Joshua thought he had made a breakthrough sending a few punches Dubois' way.
However, Anthony Joshua has spoken about what the future holds for him after his defeat to Dubois. According to the British boxer, the defeat would not make him consider retirement despite the talks on social media.

Anthony Joshua posted a video on his official social media accounts on Monday, September 23, 2024, confirming that the defeat against Dubois was just a bump on the road.
"We did it once. We did it twice. Doing it a third time hasn’t been easy, but I believe it is something I can achieve. It is about taking the first steps forward, working hard and improving.It is got to come in from here [the heart], it can’t come from any external voices of influences.It has only been a day but when I sit back here, I know I have a lot of this [heart]. Keep your seatbelts tight because I know we have a lot more to bring to the game.’'
