Man United head coach Ruben Amorim has directly addressed speculations of Bruno Fernandes making a possible transfer to Real Madrid.

Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim has addressed the speculation regarding Bruno Fernandes' future at the club amidst intensifying rumors connecting the Portuguese midfielder with Real Madrid categorically dismissing any possibility of a transfer this June 2025 summer window.

Fernandes continues to be United's standout performer this season despite the team's inconsistent results, contributing an impressive 16 goals and 16 assists across all competitions. Speaking before United's upcoming Premier League fixture against Nottingham Forest, Amorim addressed the transfer speculation head-on, emphatically stating, "It's not going to happen."

When pressed about his confidence in retaining the player, Amorim elaborated on his position, "That is the challenge. I want Bruno here. We want to win the Premier League again, and we need our best players. He consistently plays 55 matches each season, contributes to 30 goals, and is essential to our strategy. He's staying with us."

The manager also emphasized Fernandes' deep connection to Manchester United, "He truly understands what wearing this shirt means. His occasional displays of frustration simply reflect his winning mentality. That's exactly the type of player we need."

The club faces no financial pressure to part with their captain, who remains under contract until 2027 with a potential one-year extension option. Since joining in 2020, Fernandes has helped secure both FA Cup and EFL Cup victories, and now aims to add the Europa League trophy while helping United qualify for European competition next season.
