The game between Tunisia and Mali ended in the most wildest way a football match should ever end after the referee blew for full time with 25 seconds to go.
The Zambian referee, Janny Sikazwe had earlier blown for full time on the 85th minute. The decision left the Tunisian bench furious with coach Mondher Kebair grabbing the arm of the referee and posting the his watch in the aftermath of the full-time whistle.
The centre referee was almost in the middle of another controversy when he decided not to go for a VAR check after he was asked by the VAR officials to go make a check. The Zambian referee had to be escorted by security officials at the stadium in order to ensure his safety.
The game ended 1-0 in favour of the Malians.
