#AFCON2021: Senegalese FA Give Update on Sadio Mane's Injury

The Senegalese Football Federation have confirmed that Liverpool's winger, Sadio Mane will be fit for the quarter-final game against Equatorial Guinea.

Mane suffered a head injury in the Round of 16 game while he collided with the Cape Verde goalkeeper. The goalkeeper was issued a red card but Mane continued the game and he scored the opening goal of the game on the 63rd minute.

Mane was substituted a few minutes later, as he went down holding his head and was replaced by Bamba Dieng who scored the second goal lf the game for the Terenga Lions.

Senegal confirmed that Mane is doing well on its official social media account. Mane also confirmed that he is recovering on his official Instagr account.
