2013 AFCON runner-ups Burkina Faso announce a strong squad for the 2023 tournament

Burkina Faso has named a strong squad many feel can challenge for the title at AFCON 2023 which is scheduled to commence on January 13, 2024.

Hubert Velud, the coach of Burkina Faso, has officially announced the roster of 27 players who will proudly represent the nation at the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast in 2023. The Stallions of Burkina Faso find themselves placed in Group D, where they will face formidable opponents such as Algeria, Angola, and Mauritania. This diverse and talented squad is poised to showcase their skills and determination on the continental stage as they vie for success in one of Africa's premier football tournaments.
