AFCON 2023: Nigeria faces major injury concern ahead of final group stage fixture
As the Super Eagles of Nigeria gear up for the final group stage fixture of AFCON 2023 which will be against Guinea-Bissau, the team has been faced with a major injury concern that might keep a key play out of the fixture which will be played in the coming week.
This injury concern in the Super Eagles of Nigeria camp was shared via the popular sports media outlet which had exclusive footage of the team training ahead of their final AFCON 2023 group stage fixture.
Zaidu Sanusi who has played at the left back position for Nigeria since the commencement of AFCON 2023, could be seen in the footage with a heavily strapped arm which was also supported by a sling.

Recall that Zaidu Sanusi had already shown signs of discomfort in the victory over Ivory Coast on Thursday, January 18, 2024, when he landed awkwardly after a challenge on him in the second half of the game.
Many do not know the severity of the injury yet but are hopeful it is nothing serious that will keep him out of the final fixture of the group stage.
