AFCON 2023: Guinea-Bissau vs Nigeria; Jose Peseiro makes key changes as starting lineups surface

Super Eagles of Nigeria head coach, Jose Peseiro has made key changes to his side ahead of the final fixture in the group stages of AFCON 2023, Gui9nea-Bissau vs Nigeria.

Jose Peseiro had initially confirmed that there will be noticeable changes in the starting lineup ahead of the final AFCON 2023 group stage fixture which would be played today, Monday, January 22, 2024, in Ivory Coast.

William Troost Ekong and Zaidu Sanusi have been removed from the team with Kenneth Omeruo and Calvin Bassey both maintaining defensive positions in the squad. This is however not the only change the head coach made to the side that will play the Guinea-Bissau vs Nigeria AFCON 2023 fixture today as the head coach also made noticeable changes in the midfield introducing both Aribo and Bright Osayi-Samuel to the middle of the park alongside Frank Onyeka.
