(1) Cole Palmer

The former Manchester City has been a shining light in Chelsea's tunnel since he joined the Blues on the final day of the 2023 summer transfer window. Palmer has contributed to Chelsea's victory in the last four games.

(2) Raheem Sterling:

The England International just like Palmer has been a key part of Chelsea's turnaround this season. He has been able to bring out the form that everyone knew him for when he was with Manchester City.

Sterling has been in the torn in the flesh of defenders since the beginning of this season and the game against the Gunners was not any different.

(3) David Raya:

The Spaniard International has been in a good form since he completed his loan move from Brentford. However, he was the center of the conversation, especially for Mykhialo Mudrky's goal in the second half. Arsenal supporters will hope this game at Stamford Bridge is just a bump in the road for their goalkeeper.

(4) Mikel Arteta's masterclass:

The manager of Arsenal, Mikel Arteta showed why he has been a force in the league this season. He introduced Trossard who salvaged a point for the Gunners, with less than 10 minutes to the end of the game.

(5) Mauricio Pochettino:

The Argentine might have to take a bit of responsibility following his substitutions. His decision to take out Palmer and Sterling might be a contributing factor to why his team to not get the third goal in the game.

Side comments:

  • Arsenal remain unbeaten in the Premier League heading into next week's round of game. They are also equal on points with last season's champions, Manchester City
  • Trossard is becoming a super substitute for Arsenal, he has scored three goals coming off the bench this season.
  • Chelsea will look at this game more like defeat but they can still take a positive from the fact that they took a point off Arsenal.
