Chelsea Football Club are reportedly set to allow five players to leave Stamford Bridge when the January 2024 transfer window officially opens.

Chelsea will have to sell players in the January transfer window if they want to bring in a forward player which has been the missing link at the club since the beginning of this season. Mirror Football confirmed on its website that Trevaoh Chalobah, Ian Masten and Noni Madueke could leave Chelsea in January so they can balance their financial books.

The three players have not been able to break into the Blues first since the arrival of Mauricio Pochettino at the club. Chalobah has not played a game, however, he has been a victim of injury which has made him miss the whole season so far.

Matsen has gotten a few minutes under his belt but has failed to break into the team. The Dutchman could be out of Chelsea with so many offers dining from Borrusia Dortmund.

Madueke has also fallen the pecking order under Pochettino and has not started a top-flight game since the 2-0 defeat against Brentford in October. Marc Cucurella and Armando Broja are among the other players who could be sacrificed as Chelsea tries and balance the books.
