Following a two-year absence from music, Wrash Heed steps back into the spotlight with a record centered on healing, reflection and forward movement. Fly Away is a calm Afro-soul record built on warm melodies and introspective lyrics, capturing a period of personal reset for the artist.

The break from music followed a challenging time in Wrash Heed’s life, as he stepped away to care for his mother during a prolonged illness. Following her passing, he returned to the studio gradually, using music as a way to regain balance and clarity. Fly Away is the first song he recorded during that process.

Rather than chase trends or loud moments, Fly Away focuses on emotional honesty and restraint. The song reflects themes of letting go, inner peace and choosing calm after prolonged pressure. It marks the beginning of a new phase for Wrash Heed, one defined by intention rather than urgency.
