Dopestiks is the rave of the town with his 6-track EP, Anoda Dimension

With his last released single (Molly) being mid-year 2023, multitalented musician Dopestiks gears up for the release of his sophomore EP. The project is rightly titled Anoda Dimension, in testament to Dopestiks' much-improved artistry.

Before going into details of the EP, an insight into Dopestik's background will be vital in shedding light on the EP's nomenclature.

Background

As per the in-depth biography, little is known about Andrew Kabo aka Dopestiks. He was born in the golden “brown rooftop” lands of Ibadan where he received primary and secondary education. With a passion for music production, he devoted his time to learning it via YouTube tutorials; mastering the skill, and making a profit off it.

However, Dopestiks would soon transition into recording his vocals, showing off a different side of his musical personality, pushing him to the front end of mainstream media.

Anoda Dimension EP

Pervaded with minimalist amorous and self-manifesting lyrics, Anoda Dimension is sure to transcend Dopestiks into the upper echelons of the music industry.

Laced with six (6) solid tracks (Intro included), Anoda Dimension focuses on two predominant aspects of the singer's lifestyle—hustle and women. The first three (3) tracks speak on the chase for excellence and acclaim while the concluding records serenade the beautiful women present in Dopestiks' life.

Anoda Dimension utilizes the vibrant Afrobeats sounds (vocally and production-wise). With Dopestiks' high-pitched vocal texture and each well-produced song, maximum enjoyment is guaranteed.

Dopestiks almost solely made Anoda Dimension a one-man project (vocally) if not for the last track (in which he sought the collaborative effort of fellow fast-rising talents—Rybeena and Fola.

Although, production-wise, Dopestiks gives way for his producer colleagues to get their shine through Anoda Dimension. Jayscopebeatz (Manifest), StringsBeat (Dollar Sign and Honeywell), and Nuelbeatz (Genie) all dexterously brought their A-game by curating the sonics that governed Anoda Dimension EP. The sound engineers present in this work of art are JUSTPERERMYX across all tracks except the fourth (4th) track (Honeywell)which is mixed and mastered by Joe you trippin.

Despite employing the virtuoso services of three (3) producers, Dopestiks still made sure to add his clinical glow to the production. Tracks 3 and 4 are co-produced by him while the last record has his imprint all over it.

February 23 is the fixed date for the release of the career-changing Anoda Dimension EP. As the anticipation builds, a song off the EP (Genie) drops on February 9 as a promotional single.
