Over the weekend, Nigeria celebrated 50 years since she gained her Independence from British rule. In the last half-century, the nation has gone through a few highs and several lows. Cute Sagay (real name, Chuka Sagay) is one of several artistes who decided to record something that will serve as an inspiration to the Nigerian public. He's an R 'n' B/Soul Singer who also plays the piano very well, and thrives in front of a live audience.
On this song, he implores us as a nation to "Arise O' Compatriots and make a change" for the better. No matter what, it's never too late to hope and fight for Nigeria.
