Crayon embraces the good life with uplifting new single 'Modupe'
Renowned singer-songwriter Crayon, affiliated with Mavin Records and Blowtime Ent, has delighted fans with the release of his latest musical piece, Modupe.
The captivating single, Modupe meaning "I give thanks" in Yoruba Language offers a melodic glimpse into the essence of the track.
With lyrics like "I got only one life o, make I just dey jogodo jogodo till I go kpai o," the singer is aware that life is YOLO and he plans to live it to the fullest. Crayon's infectious hook encapsulates the song's entire spirit. He acknowledges the value of his singular existence and expresses his determination to embrace life's adventures unreservedly while giving thanks.
Modupe also serves as a brief reflection on Crayon's past experiences, while marking the opening of a new chapter in his life. He acknowledges the people he may have wronged, the wild moments he's experienced, and the joyful times he's shared, "All the people wey I shank yeah, all the barnies wey I reckless, we had such a good time, but the chapter ends here."
Produced by the globally acclaimed hitmaker Andre Vibez, Modupe stands as Crayon's second release of the year, following his previous track, The One (Chop Life) featuring Mozambiqian trio, Yaba Buluku Boyz.
