Cheekychizzy Taps Marie Monti For New Single 'Blessings'

American-based Nigerian producer, singer and songwriter, Cheekychizzy has released his first official single for the year titled, Blessings. In the smooth inspirational joint, Cheekychizzy tells a story about how his life and journey in the music industry have been a blessing, he reassures his fans there are loads of blessings to share this year and beyond.

Cheekychizzy relocated back to Los Angeles in 2021 to work on his forthcoming extended play 'Shmita'. "I'm glad I made the decision to relocate to the states to focus on my music. Now my EP is done and ready to drop in a few weeks" the singer posits.

The first single to be released off the EP is titled 'Blessings' and it features Marie Monti, a pop-urban singer, songwriter and record producer born and raised in France. Marie Monti is the latest breakout artist to emerge from the new partnership between Saban Music Group and Universal Music Group.

When asked about his forthcoming EP 'Shmita', Cheekychizzy says, "I've been working, making music, learning, touring the world and creating beautiful experiences for the past six years with the legend D'banj and this is the 7th year, I choose a different path. I call it my sabbatical year to connect more with God, relax, enjoy life and build a family. So, I'm putting out this project, my personal playlist and mantra for the whole year which is to listen more, watch and pray whilst living my truth. Each song is special and tells a unique story, pay attention to every line. I'm inspired, you might get inspired too."
