Zinoleesky’s answer to controversial question gets people talking
Nigerian singer Oniyide Azeez, popularly known as Zinoleesky, has stirred conversations online following his response to a controversial question during a recent TikTok live session.
Zinoleesky, known for Party No Dey Stop was a guest on a TikTok live stream hosted by popular skit maker Habeeb Hamzat, aka Peller, who’s become known for putting celebrities on the spot with tricky questions. Before ending their chat, Peller asked Zinoleesky to make a tough call, if Afrobeats giants Davido, Burna Boy, and Wizkid were all drowning, who would he save?
Zinoleesky hesitated for a moment, clearly caught off guard, before eventually choosing Davido. Explaining his decision, he admitted he wasn’t particularly close to any of the three but felt more comfortable with the Unavailable hitmaker than the others.
The singer’s answer quickly made rounds on social media, sparking mixed reactions among fans and music lovers. While some praised his honesty, others debated what their own choices would be in the same scenario.
This isn’t the first time a Nigerian artist has been faced with such a dilemma. A few weeks earlier, Afrobeats diva Tiwa Savage was asked a similar question and picked Rema over Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Davido, saying the young star had more years ahead of him while the others were already well established.
As Zinoleesky’s moment continues to trend, it adds to the growing list of playful yet headline-making moments from Nigeria’s vibrant entertainment scene.
