Wizkid was announced as the main act of Yam Festival 2022 in London on Saturday, August 27, 2022, he would take on the main stage and would be supported by special guests, which include popular Nigerian acts like Naira Marley, Ckay, and Flavour.

This is an important feat for the Grammy award-winning superstar, who is focused on continuing from where he left off in 2021 after three sold-out concert dates at the 02 Arena in London.

The Yam Festival is an afrobeat festival that centers around celebrating the relevance of black music, culture, and dance. It will take place on Clapham Common in the capital on August 27, 2022.

The start of the Yam Carnival in 2021 saw the complete transformation of the cultural environment of London itself. With the festival going into its second year, the bar set by the first year had been relatively high, but the organizers have turned the notch a little high for this year's edition as they are about to introduce a completely new stage strictly for people who love and do piano.
