Wizkid unlocks new career milestone with 'more Love Less Ego'

Wizkid has set a new career milestone on the digital streaming platform Spotify with his highly acclaimed album, 'More Love Less Ego.'
Afrobeats superstar Wizkid continues to dominate the global music scene as his album More Love, Less Ego has officially surpassed 250 million streams on Spotify. This milestone further cements his legacy as one of Nigeria’s most streamed and influential artists.
Released in November 2022, More Love, Less Ego showcased Wizkid’s signature smooth sound, blending Afrobeats, R&B, and Amapiano influences. The album features standout tracks like Bad To Me, 2 Sugar featuring Ayra Starr, and Money & Love, which quickly became fan favorites. With guest appearances from international and African stars such as Skepta, Don Toliver, Shenseea, and Naira Marley, the project expanded Wizkid’s global appeal while staying true to his roots.
The album, which becomes Wizkid’s fourth to surpass 250 million Spotify streams, joins Made In Lagos, Sound From The Other Side, and Ayo in achieving the feat. This also makes Wizkid the second Nigerian artist to have at least four albums reach this milestone, with Burna Boy leading at five.
Despite being a more laid-back and experimental project compared to Made In Lagos, More Love, Less Ego still resonated with fans worldwide, proving that Wizkid’s influence and artistry remain unmatched. As the numbers keep rising, Big Wiz continues to solidify his place as one of Afrobeats’ biggest global icons.
