Wizkid Equals 27-Year-Old Billboard Charts Record With 'Made In Lagos'

Starboy, Wizkid is off to a great start with records in 2022 as he officially equals a 27-year record on the Billboard charts with his classic album ' Made in Lagos. '

Aside from being the highest and the longest-charting Nigerian artist on the Billboard World Album charts, Wizkid has taken it up a notch by joining the African legends to have the longest-charting album on the Billboard charts; with the album ' Made In Lagos. '

Wizkid now ties the African legend, Cesaria Evora, to have the longest-charting album on the Billboard World Album Charts with 66 weeks.

The Cape Verdean singer, Cesaria Evora, with her Grammy award-winning album, Cesária, had spent a total of 66 weeks on the charts peaking at the number 2 position, which made her the only African to spend that long on the charts.
