Nigerian megastar, Wizkid has just secured his place as the most certified Nigerian artist in South Africa.
He recently added two new certifications to his already impressive collection. Wizkid's global smash Come Closer featuring Drake rockets to a staggering 4x Platinum status in South Africa, while his smooth track Sweet One earns a well-deserved Gold certification.
This isn't just a one-hit wonder situation. In 2023, Wizkid dominated the South African charts with a whopping five platinum certifications for songs from his chart-topping album Made in Lagos.
These certifications included Essence which has a 7x Platinum. Ginger featuring Burna Boy which is a 2x Platinum. Followed by No Stress, True Love featuring Tay Iwar and Projexx and Longtime featuring Skepta with one platinum certification each.
