Tyla ranks Wizkid and Michael Jackson among the greatest artists of all time

Renowned Nigerian singer Ayo Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has earned high praise from South African artist Tyla, who recently ranked him alongside international music icons such as Michael Jackson, Rihanna, and Drake.

The commendation came during an interview on The Bianca Show, where Tyla was asked to name her five greatest musicians of all time.

Tyla's list included Wizkid, Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, Drake, and Rihanna, with the "Getting Late" singer attributing Wizkid's inclusion to his remarkable longevity and impact in the African music industry.

Speaking about her top five musical artists, Tyla remarked, "My top five musical artists of all time are, obviously, Michael Jackson, Rihanna, Drake... It is always difficult to find the last one. There are so many, but I will say Wizkid. He has been around so long and has done so much for the culture and the genre [African music], so I definitely put him there."

This recognition from Tyla highlights Wizkid's global influence and shows his significant contributions to the African music landscape. As fans celebrate this acknowledgement, Wizkid continues to solidify his position as a trailblazer in the international music scene.
