Tyla confirms release date for her new album
Fans can cheer up and wait no more as Tyla in her latest interview has confirmed when fans should expect her new album.
South African singer Tyla has announced that her sophomore album which will be her new project is set for release in 2025. This news follows the success of her self-titled debut album, Tyla, which was released on March 22, 2024. The debut album showcased her unique blend of pop and amapiano, a genre she refers to as “popiano,” and featured collaborations with artists like Tems.
In October 2024, Tyla released a deluxe edition of her debut album, titled Tyla +, which included three additional tracks. One of these tracks, “Push 2 Start,” was highlighted during her appearance at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, where she won the Best Afrobeats Video award for her song “Water.”
While specific details about the upcoming sophomore album, such as the title and tracklist, are yet to be revealed, fans eagerly anticipate how Tyla will continue to evolve her distinctive sound.
