Veteran music producer turned blogger, Samklef has made a bold claim regarding being the creator of the Afrobeats sound.
Samklef took to his social page in the early hours of the 7th of March 2021 to lay claim to being the creator of Afrobeats and also stating he is one of the reasons the music genre has gone international. The music producer declared that he should be respected while he's alive. He tweeted;
“I’m one of the reason why afrobeats is international today. I created the sound. Respect me. I still dey alive.”
