Plagiarism is a dirty act/behavior and oga Timaya shouldn't be the one involved in such, if you can't write your song or think then pay people to do that. @timayatimaya pic.twitter.com/fU3Ft6kj0c

The leader appealed to the singer to respect their rights and seek permission if he intends to remix their songs. Timaya has not responded to the allegations at this time. In addition to the allegations against him, the Nigerian singer opened up about his struggles with drug addiction. In a recent interview with The Beat 99.9 FM, Timaya revealed that he was introduced to drugs during the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020. He confessed that although he's not perfect, he has experimented with drugs before. Timaya admitted that when he first tried the drug, it made him feel really good. He ended up giving away a lot of his money without thinking much about it.
