Tems becomes the most certified female Nigerian artist in Canada
Grammy award-winning singer, songwriter and performer Tems is officially the most certified female Nigerian artist in Canada.
Talented singer and performer Tems has extended her record and is officially the most certified female Nigerian artist in the North American country, Canada, following the four new certifications received by the singer for her songs.
The singer's total number of certified songs in Canada increased to six songs after the following songs, Damages, Free Mind, Higher, and Found were all certified Gold after selling over 40,000 units each in Canada alone.
Aside from being the most certified female Nigerian artist in Canada, Tems also became the third most certified Nigerian artist in the country as well.
This announcement comes days after the singer also became the most certified female Nigerian artist in the United States of America.
Tems' single "Higher," which is featured in her "Leading Vibe" EP, has achieved gold certification after selling over 500,000 units in the United States alone. Additionally, her viral hit song "Free Mind" has been certified platinum in the country, having sold over 1,000,000 units in the United States of America.
