Tems reacts to Ayra Starr and Tyla receiving their first Grammy Award nomination


Grammy award-winning singer and performer Tems took to social media to react to the Grammy Award nomination received by Ayra Starr and Tyla.

Ayra Starr and Tyla were both confirmed as first-time nominees by the Recording Academy during their announcement of the nomination list for the 66th edition of the award ceremony.

The two sensational singers received a nomination in the newly introduced Best African Music Performance award category. Ayra received a nomination for her hit song Rush, and Tyla received for her viral song Water.

Tems, who also received her 5th nomination following her writing contribution to the theme song for Marvel's Black Panther 2, took to her social media platform to celebrate the singers, mentioning that there are more nominations to come in future for the singers.

Her post read, "Seeing these girlies win is actually everything because they work so hard and they believed! I’m so happy and proud rn, a huge congratulations So well deserved. More is coming!! @ayrastarr @Tyllaaaaaaa."
