Suga of BTS Makes History in US Rap Scene with Remarkable Record

Suga of BTS has set an incredible feat in the history of rap in the US with his recent achievement with the 'D-Day | Agust D' tour 2023.

Following the announcement of solo activities from the 7 members of the biggest boy group in the world today, BTS, it has been nothing but solo albums for fans and record breaking moment for the artists as solo acts as well.

One of the members of BTS, Suga who is also known as Agust D has reportedly set a new feat with his D-Day | Agust D tour as he became the first and only rap artist in US history to make over 3 million dollars from a single arena-concert venue.

According to touring data Suga became the first rapper to earn over 3 million dollars from a single concert arena venue as the rapper earned an estimated $3.164 million each night at the Forum in Inglewood on three separate dates, May 10, 11, and 14, 2023.

Suga's D-Day | Agust D tour also became the highest grossing tour by an Asian soloist in US history as the rapper sold over 110,000 tickets and made over 30 million dollars from just 11 shows in the US.

The rapper is also the highest selling Korean artist in 24 hours as his album D-Day sold over 1 million copies on the first day of its release.

Suga who was recently unveiled as the NBA Global Ambassador also recorded huge debuts on the charts in Nigeria with D-Day as he joined other members of the group BTS to record a debut on the Spotify Top Songs Daily and Weekly charts.
