Stonebwoy to feature on CNN Africa's African Voices


Ghanaian Afro-dancehall sensation, Stonebwoy, is set to take center stage on an upcoming episode of CNN Africa's renowned documentary series, African Voices.

This series is renowned for spotlighting the continent's most vibrant individuals who carve their own paths in realms spanning travel, fashion, art, and music.

In a sneak peek shared by CNN Africa, Stonebwoy, born Livingstone Etse Setekla, offers a glimpse into his journey, filmed at the iconic Tuff Gong studios in Jamaica. Reflecting on his artistic influences, Stonebwoy credits the legendary reggae icon, Bob Marley, for shaping his musical trajectory.

The Ghanaian artist, who recently featured on Bob Marley's Africa Unite album, unveiled his longstanding mission to foster unity between Africa and its diaspora through the unifying power of music.

Speaking candidly to CNN Africa, Stonebwoy expressed his conviction in the need to bridge the gap between Africa and its global diaspora, stating, "As an African, I can relate to anything Black outside of Africa...It's time for us to bring it together to continue to sing one song."
