Spyro releases evidence to counter Ubi Franklin's debt claims, demands payment
The ongoing feud between Nigerian singer Spyro and music executive Ubi Franklin has taken a dramatic turn, with Spyro releasing evidence to counter Franklin's claims that he owes him N10.5 million.
According to Spyro, the feud began when Ubi Franklin failed to pay him $5,000 for performing at a birthday show. Spyro claims that he has been reminding Franklin about the debt, but is yet to receive payment.
In a bid to clear his name and expose Franklin's alleged debt, Spyro took to social media to share screenshots of messages and other evidence. The screenshots appear to show Spyro reminding Franklin about the debt on multiple occasions.
However, Franklin has countered Spyro's claims, alleging that the singer owes him N10.5 million for a car he helped him purchase. But Spyro has produced evidence suggesting that the car dealership's MD took a 10% commission on the sale, not Franklin.
In a series of posts, Spyro accused Franklin of trying to deceive the public and deflect attention from his own debt. Spyro vowed to continue dragging Franklin online until he receives payment for the debt.
