Skiibii expresses disappointment on Father's Day

Nigerian singer, Abbey Toyyib Elias better known as Skiibii, has expressed his disappointment on social media about the way Father's Day was observed on Sunday, June 16, 2024.

Instead of celebrating their fathers on Father’s Day, Skiibii noted that people were asking for money from them.

Consequently, Skiibii took to his Instagram story to vent his frustration. He wrote: "You can't even celebrate anything without people asking for money. All I see is 'daddy send money, press money'. You can't even post about Father's Day in peace without it being a problem."

Meanwhile, this outburst comes on the heels of recent allegations against Skiibii and Mayorkun, which they both denied.

While Mayorkun had taken to X to refute claims of attempting to use an influencer for money rituals, Skiibii kept mute.
