Skales opens up about betrayal in the music industry

Nigerian artist Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, popularly known as Skales, has expressed his disappointment over the betrayal he faced from individuals he helped in the music industry.
Taking to his X page, the Afrobeats star revealed that some artists he supported early in their careers eventually turned their backs on him. Despite the disappointment, Skales maintained that he remains grateful, stating that God has been faithful to him and continues to reward his good deeds.
Reflecting on his journey, the singer emphasized the importance of prayer and faith, sharing that his late mother had always advised him to trust in God through all challenges.
In his post, Skales wrote: “One day I’ll sit down and tell you a story of how a lot of people turned their backs on me, including people I helped build up in this industry. But guess what? God never failed me even when I was isolated… Don’t you ever stop praying and trusting God with everything you’ve got… Best advice my mom gave me!!!”
His statement has since sparked reactions among fans and industry observers, with many praising his resilience and unwavering faith.
