Simi shares hands-on approach to motherhood

Nigerian singer Simi has revealed how her perspectives on motherhood have changed since welcoming her daughter, Adejare.

In an episode of The Roadshow on Cool FM, Simi shared that she used to think she would have multiple nannies for her kids, but that's not the case.

Simi explained that she's a hands-on mom and only gets nannies for her daughter when they're in Nigeria, as she's busier here than in the States. She laughed about her initial plans, saying she shouldn't have thought that, knowing herself.

Also, the singer shared that she's trying to write a book, a novel, and wants to work on a children's project, citing it as an untapped market. Meanwhile, Simi's openness about motherhood and her new interests has given fans a glimpse into her life beyond music.

Additionally, Simi's conversation on The Roadshow showcased her growth as a mother and artist. It reflects the importance of being present and hands-on in her daughter's life.
