Sarz reveals how he got Asake and Gunna on ‘Happiness’

Nigerian music producer Sarz has revealed the story behind the collaboration with Asake and American rapper Gunna on the track Happiness.

In an interview with Billboard's Catrise J, Sarz shared that he sent the record to Gunna, who immediately loved it, recognizing it as a perfect fusion of hip-hop, afro beats, and funk pop.

Before the release of Happiness, Sarz expressed his intention to create more than just a song, aiming to craft a "symphony of joy that transcends borders" with Happiness. The collaboration is described as a celebration of unity, cultural diversity, and the universal language of happiness.

The track which is now available on all major streaming platforms, is accompanied by a music video directed by Edgar Esteves, known for his work with artists like French Montana and Nicki Minaj. The video has amassed over 3.2 million views on YouTube and is currently number 13 on trending music.
