Samklef questions Davido's private jet purchase, says it was bought by his father
Nigerian music producer, Samklef, has ignited controversy by disputing Davido's recent announcement of purchasing a private jet, asserting instead that it was Davido's father who made the acquisition.
In a series of posts on his Instagram page today, Friday, April 5, 2024, Samklef congratulated Davido for his father's alleged new purchase, contradicting Davido's claims.
Davido had earlier taken to X on Thursday, April 4, 2024, to share news of his acquisition of a private jet, but Samklef vehemently disagreed, insisting that it was Davido's father, a renowned businessman and billionaire, Dr. Adedeji Adeleke who was behind the purchase.
In his Instagram posts, Samklef questioned the credibility of Davido's claim, rhetorically asking where Davido's father was when his own father was amassing wealth. He also drew attention to the financial status of Davido's father compared to his own, highlighting disparities in wealth accumulation.
He wrote, "Congratulations to davido as his dad don buy another private jet! Where una papa Dey when davido papa Dey make money? My own papa don die since 1996 I was 11 just incase una wan ask me back the question."
