Nigerian music producer Rexxie shares a snippet of an unreleased Rema and Zlatan song.

Grammy-nominated Nigerian producer Rexxie wowed fans over the weekend when he previewed a never-before-heard collaboration featuring Rema and Zlatan Ibile during a livestream session.

The track, recorded approximately five years ago (around 2021), blends Zlatan's signature street-hop energy and Yoruba-infused verses with Rema's smooth, melodic hooks over Rexxie's vibrant, dance-ready production. Clips of the snippet quickly spread across social media platforms, including X (formerly Twitter), where music pages and fans alike shared the audio, sparking widespread calls for an official release.

Reactions poured in, with many praising the timeless vibe while others pleaded with Rema and Zlatan not to release the song.

The teaser arrives on the heels of Rexxie's third studio album, BIG VYBZ, which was released in October 2025. That project showcased his continued evolution in fusing Afrobeats with global influences, but notably did not include this particular collaboration. Fans speculate that clearance issues or strategic timing may have kept the song shelved, a common occurrence in the industry where unreleased tracks sometimes resurface years later to massive success.

Neither Rema, Zlatan, nor Rexxie has officially commented on plans to release the full song. In an era where viral snippets often propel older material to chart dominance, this 2021 gem could still find its moment if dropped soon.
