Reminisce Reveals Another Movie Starring Him Will Be Released Soon | SEE DETAILS
The rapper who played a major role in the highly successful 'King of Boys' movie will be hitting the screens again this year.
Nigerian veteran rapper Remilekun Safaru, popularly known as Reminisce, has made it known that he will be appearing in another movie scheduled for release this year.
The heavyweight rapper who played the role of Makanaki in the highly-successful Nigerian movie "King of Boys" was one of the people's favorites and he isn't slowing down with his newly found craft.
Speaking on Rubbin Minds with popular media personality Ebuka Uchendu, the rapper revealed how hard it was to pull off his role in 'King of Boys" and its sequel, giving credits to the director Kemi Adetiba for encouraging him when he felt like quitting.
Speaking further, Reminisce stated that he has started getting approached for movie roles. However, he pays a lot of attention to the movie script, although his fees can be high as well. He said:
I get approached a lot now for movies. But I make sure I bill appropriately, considering where I’m coming from as a musician. Beyond fees, I tend to also look at the script and see if it’s something I want to do,
The rapper also made it known that his fans should be expecting to see him in another movie this year, he said:
Apart from KOB, I did another that will be out this year. That one is centered around my person and name. I liked the script.
