Rema joins Wizkid as the only Afrobeats artists to achieve this milestone in history
Rema's latest achievement with the deluxe version of his debut album Rave & Roses, sees him join the Grammy award-winning singer Wizkid as the only African artists to achieve such a feat.
Rave & Roses deluxe version has now been certified gold in the US by the RIAA making the talented singer and Wizkid the only afrobeats artists to receive album certification in the United States. Rema also set a new record as his album became the fastest Afrobeats album to receive such certification in the States.
Rave & Roses Rema's debut album has continued to break and tie existing records in Afrobeats whilst setting new records many would look forward to breaking in future.
The album which recently surpassed one billion streams and was also named one of the Best Afrobeats album of 2023 by NotJustOk can be confirmed as a project that has set a new par for the singer and his follow-up EP, Ravage would be looking to follow.
