Nigerian singer, Terry G, born Gabriel Oche Amanyi, has stirred controversy by alleging that street-hop artist, Portable mimicked his persona.

In a recent episode of the Honest Bunch podcast that surfaced online on Monday, April 1, 2024, Terry G, known for his distinct style and energetic performances, claimed Portable adopted aspects of his character without emulating his musical style.

"Portable picked the acting part of me. He didn't pick the musical part of me," Terry G remarked during the podcast. "Music is about the instruments. Is it only about your voice? He didn't create time to learn any instrument."

While Terry G acknowledged Portable's resemblance to his stage presence, he emphasized that Portable failed to replicate his musical abilities, particularly in instrument mastery.

Moreover, Terry G addressed his longstanding feud with stand-up comedian, Ayo Makun widely known as AY. Recounting their history, Terry G asserted his contributions to AY's track Pass Me Ur Luv, claiming credit for production, the hook, and a verse. He expressed his right to perform the song at his own shows, stating, "Nobody has the right to tell me not to perform that song at my shows. Moreover, he didn't pay me for the production."

Terry G's candid remarks on Portable and AY's contentious relationship have ignited discussions within Nigeria's entertainment industry, prompting fans to weigh in on the ongoing saga.
