Portable makes UK chart debut with ‘Tony Montana’

Few days after the release of Tony Montana, Nigerian Afrobeats artist, Portable, has landed his first entry on a UK chart.

He achieved that with the hit song Tony Montana featuring artists, Skepta and JAE5. The song debuted at #93 as seen on the website.

This achievement comes on the heels of Tony Montana dominating the Nigerian music scene, reaching number 1 on the Spotify Nigeria charts. The song's energy and catchy lyrics have appealed with audiences both in Nigeria and abroad, showing Portable's rising global appeal.

Portable even before the debut on the UK chart had made it clear his new conditions for features. He noted that he wanted everyone to know that his growth would mean increased cost for features. Portable’s international growth is a motivation for upcoming unconventional African artists.
