Portable calls for prayer, support amid UK tour postponement, assault allegations

Nigerian singer Portable, has appealed to his fans for prayer and support amidst a string of unfortunate events, including the postponement of his UK tour and allegations of assaulting government officials.

The UK tour of Portable, born Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, which was scheduled to take place on February 7 and 8 in London and Glasgow, respectively, was postponed indefinitely. The announcement came on the heels of reports of a public feud with his music mentor Olamide.

Furthermore, Portable has been accused of assaulting government officials who were on duty around his Odogwu bar location in Ogun state. According to eyewitnesses, Portable allegedly harassed the officials and later attacked them with the help of some area boys.

The singer has since gone into hiding, and it is expected that he will be arrested if he makes a public appearance. Portable has taken to social media to explain his side of the story, stating that he needs to stay behind to protect his family and property. He concluded his message by asking his fans and followers to pray for him during this trying period.
