Phyna reacts to claims of abandoning her father after winning N100 million

Phyna took to her Snapchat to react to these heinous accusations made by her father.

In a recent article published by Vanguard Newspaper on September 30, 2023, Felix Otabor, the father of Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna and the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 7, made allegations that his daughter had abandoned her family after receiving a prize of 100 million naira from Big Brother Naija.

Felix Otabor and his entire family believed that Josephina Otabor popularly known as Phyna was the answer to all their prayers concerning finances. However, in his interview with Vanguard newspaper, he accused Phyna of abandoning her entire family after emerging as the winner. Her father claimed that the day she was announced winner of Big Brother Naija was the last day her family set eyes on her. “She disappeared into thin air as soon as the prize money was handed over to her, and she never returned home to butter our bread,” said Mr. Felix Otabor.

Phyna took to her Snapchat to react to these heinous accusations made by her father. Phyna said that her parents never showed her any type of parental love and had to beg for their affection. Phyna also said that while growing up her parents had always told her that she wasn’t their daughter.

According to her Snapchat story “Growing up, I always hear you are not my daughter…yet I would beg for parental love. The truth is I have always begged people to love me. Today I have finally accepted it. I guess I am an orphan.”

Phyna also said that if she were to die her body should not be buried but instead given to her parents to eat. “They must eat my corpse”

It is evident that this situation has caused a deep rift within the family, and both Phyna and her father have made serious allegations against each other.
