Peter Okoye alleges Jude used his wife in fraud scheme

Peter Okoye, former member of the now-defunct music duo P-Square, has continued to address the ongoing fraud case involving him and his siblings.
Through a series of posts on X, Peter Okoye revealed that while many initially blamed his wife, Lola, for the controversy, the truth later emerged that his elder brother, Jude Okoye, allegedly manipulated the situation by involving his wife in fraudulent activities.
Peter Okoye claimed that Jude’s wife owns 80% of the company where funds from the P-Square group were reportedly being diverted. He urged the public to consider how differently they might have reacted had his wife been the one responsible.
In addition, Peter shared a 2020 tweet where he invited singer Cynthia Morgan, previously signed to their record label, to join his own label after he left his brother’s label in search of independence. He reflected on how he was often cast as the “bad egg” among his brothers and encouraged Cynthia to persevere.
Peter’s posts included the hashtags #FamilyNeverStealsFromFamily and #IDisownYou, showcasing the deep family rift. This comes amid Peter’s testimony against Jude in the ongoing court hearing over a N1.38 billion fraud case.
