One-half of P-Square, Peter Okoye, has taken to his social media platform to speak ahead of the 2023 general elections in Nigeria.

One-half of the multiple award-winning group, P-Square, Peter Okoye in a post on his social media platform earlier today, Saturday, January 14, 2022, has responded to artists performing at political campaigns ahead of general elections.

The singer hit out at people who called them out for showing their support for the Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi.

He said:

Dear @psquare Super fans! Thanks for the love and support over the years And for you PDAPC pple! Election will come and go! And we will all move on! Remember, Our music today has gone beyond Nigeria and Africa! So stop making empty threats over our so called Career!

The singer, who had a successful performance in Senegal, also went on to add that the group has fans worldwide. He added:

Our Last I just posted in Senegal is a really a pain in the A$$ PDAPC pple Una go cry more! Election will come and go! And we go still dey ball UP NEXT CAMEROON & EUROPE TOUR!
