P-Square: 2Baba's former manager reacts to the Okoye family feud
Former manager of popular singer 2Baba, Efe Omorogbe has shared his thoughts on the ongoing Okoye family feud following the recent statement made by Jude Okoye.
Following a video shared by Jude Okoye where he opened up on the ongoing feud involving him and his brothers Paul and Peter Okoye, the former manager of the multiple award-winning singer and performer 2Baba, Efe Omorogbe has shared his thoughts on questions about if Jude Okoye should be taking 40% of the artists' earnings.
Jude Okoye had revealed that all funds made from the music pf P-Square had a sharing ratio of 40/60 (40% for Jude and 60% for P-Square at 30% each).
This revelation sparked a debate as to if Jude Okoye should be collecting at least 40% of the earnings. This prompted Efe's direct response, who took to his social media platform to share a post which read, "The P-SQUARE saga is a practical demonstration of the importance of tags, labels and perception in the business of entertainment. By simply replacing "Jude, the elder brother" with "Jude, the founder/C.E.O of Square Records and Northside Entertainment", the dynamics change significantly."
"By recognizing Jude's multi-layered roles as A&R/Creative Director, executive producer and sometimes financier, as opposed to just "manager", the notion of "the greedy older brother reaping much more than he has earned" becomes untenable."
