Oxlade revealed that the scandal affected his family, mental health, and all endorsement deals.

He said, "This is the first time I am talking about it 'cause I keep skipping that question. It gave me peace of mind cause I was getting blackmailed for too long. These contents have existed with me before they broke out. I paid the blackmail money. When it came out I said 'finally'. The sad effect was hearing my grandma cry. It affected my family and my mental health. I lost all my endorsement deals. When you get bashed, your market value, price tag, and every affiliation you get tends to depart from you. I lost all my endorsement; up to 400 million".
